1. I have not had any problems with my vehicle to date. Do I really need an extended service plan?

An extended protection plan allows you to maintain your savings in case of an expensive repair and offers you peace of mind. An extended service plan also enhances the value of any automobile; therefore it is a great feature for anyone who is going to sell a vehicle.

3. Does my vehicle require a mechanical inspection prior to my enrollment in the National Auto Division program?

If your vehicle does not meet certain criteria, it may need to pass a mechanical inspection before an extended service plan from National Auto Division can become effective. Your policy would then become active upon receipt of a Passed Vehicle Inspection Form. Please contact a vehicle service agreement Warehouse Plan Specialist at 800.430.4428 to discuss inspection procedures.

4. Who co-ordinates the inspection and is there an additional cost?

Select Inspections, an affiliate of our claims administrator co-ordinates all inspections. You have a cost only if one or more of your vehicle's assemblies does not pass inspection and you decide not to correct the assemblies identified as needing repair.

Assuming your vehicle's assemblies do pass or identified mechanical problems are corrected, your vehicle then passes inspection. National Auto Division absorbs the cost of the inspection as long as you proceed with coverage.
