National Auto Division Inspection Program
For some policies, if your vehicle is out of Manufacture's vehicle service agreement, it may need to pass a mechanical inspection before an extended service plan from National Auto Division can become affective. Your policy would then become active upon receipt of a Passed Vehicle Inspection Form, generally the same day. Therefore you do not wait 30 days and 1,000 miles for our coverage to begin and even more importantly no one can ever deny a claim by telling you that you had that problem prior to enrollment (the infamous Pre-Existing Condition) because you have written proof that no problem existed.
National Auto Division has made the inspection process an easy, hassle-free experience. We have designed an inspection program that can be completed in two ways:
1. Visit any Pep Boys national retail location for your free inspection.
(National Auto Division 'fleet account forms' are necessary to receive inspection')
2. If there is not a Pep Boys conveniently located in your area, National Auto Division will coordinate a mobile inspection through Select Inspection Systems.
If following the inspection, it is indicated that the vehicle requires a repair, the consumer should have the necessary repairs completed at the repair facility of their choice. Once the repairs have been made, National Auto Division must receive a copy of the repair order within 10 days of the date that the vehicle failed inspection, so the failed items will be covered.
For more information or questions pertaining to the National Auto Division Inspection program, please contact a Plan Specialist at 800.430.4428 or e-mail your questions to support@nationalautodivision.com.
*Un-repaired failed vehicle assemblies may cause the vehicle to become ineligible for coverage. As a result, no service agreement may be available and a refund would be issued, less $60.00 (cost of Pep Boys inspection) or $90.00 (cost of mobile inspection). If an inspection was scheduled or performed, a fee for the cost of inspection will apply if the policy is cancelled. Please contact a National Auto Division specialist for details. Due to State Regulations, restrictions apply for Florida residents.
