It does not.  We have a 30 day, 1000 Mile Wait Period that helps our customers out, knowing that once their vehicle drives a small amount of time, they are covered. Once the vehicle passes those two milestones, we know it is in working order and good to be covered! We can also review a CarFax Report based on your Vehicle Identification Number(VIN).

Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is located on the driver-side dashboard of your vehicle. You can also find your VIN number on the title
to your vehicle, your insurance card, and your registration card.

National Auto Division has formed a network that has over 25 years experience in the mechanical repair extended service contract industry. All of our Extended Service Agreements are reinsured through United Car Care, one of the largest re-insurer in the world. Their financial stability is rated A
(Excellent) by A.M. Best and AA+ (Very Strong) by Standard & Poor’s,
providing our policy holders additional ‘peace of mind’.

A ‘claims administrator’ is the party called when a vehicle needs repair. We have formed a network that has over 25 years of experience in the mechanical repair extended service contract industry assuring our
customers the best in service. It is important to check the strength of
the administrator since they are responsible for handling and paying for
the repair. The strength of the administrator is the strength of the policy.

National Auto Division can offer comprehensive coverage at low prices because there is no ‘middle-man’. Customers buy directly from us and

National Auto Division offers coverage on vehicles that are less than 10 model years old and have less than 100,000 miles on the odometer. If you are no longer under manufacturer’s vehicle service agreement, we advise you to invest in coverage before a mechanical failure.

The “original manufacturer’s vehicle service agreement” is the initial vehicle service agreement that is provided for a new vehicle by the manufacturer. The original manufacturer’s vehicle service agreement is often very limited. Customers should examine their own original vehicle service agreement. It is important to remember that the price of both parts and labor has increased and will continue to rise in the future. Labor rates today in different parts of the country average $85 per hour or more. It is important to own a policy that will pay for both parts and labor. Also, as your car increases in mileage, the cost of an extended service plan also increases. We advise our customers to “lock” into the lowest price, and enjoy all the additional benefits that our Roadside Assistance has to offer.

National Auto Division offers coverage for both new and used vehicles.

National Auto Division program is only available on vehicles with a clean
title history. If there is a unique circumstance, call a National Auto Division
Plan Specialist at 800.430.4428 for assistance.

National Auto Division does not provide coverage on any vehicle that has
been significantly modified beyond the manufacturers standards. Also, we do not provide coverage on “Grey Market” vehicles that do not meet U.S. specifications. Feel free to contact a National Auto Division Plan Specialist at 800.430.4428 for any additional questions on this matter.

The National Auto Division program begins 30 days and 1,000 miles from the
date the vehicle is enrolled in the plan or immediately, if it is still
under the original manufacturer vehicle service agreement or once it has passed an inspection. The plan will expire according to the time and/or mileage of the coverage you select, whichever occurs first.

The National Auto Division program is hassle-free. In the event of mechanical failure, you may bring your vehicle or have it towed to
any licensed repair facility. The repair facility will call the National Auto Division claim facility advising us as to your agreement number, diagnosis of failure and cost of repair. Our claim facility will issue an authorization amount to repair all covered items and will pay for repairs directly via Corporate Credit Card or Check, depending on their preference.

If you choose a plan that has a deductible, it is “per visit” not “per item”.

National Auto Division provides a roadside assistance program for the entire life of your policy, which complements our comprehensive coverage. We can assist you and your vehicle 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Also if you are more than 100 miles from your home, we will cover expenses up to $500 for lodging and meals while the repair is being made.

National Auto Division plans cover 100% of parts and labor charges, and all
applicable taxes less the deductible. All of the programs offered by National Auto Division will protect your vehicle when a part has worn beyond the manufacturer’s tolerance. The program does not cover items such as brake pads or brake rotors. It is important for you to understand the difference between the term “wear and tear” and “normal wear items.”

Seals and gaskets are not covered as stand alone items in National Auto Division programs. They are though in conjunction with the repair of a covered component.

Because National Auto Division is accepted at all licensed repair facilities,
we don’t need to recommend specific facilities. However, we are accepted at facilities such as Pep Boys, Firestone, AAMCO and many more.

Our customers have the option of taking the vehicle to the dealership or any licensed repair facility throughout the United States or Canada.
